Islamabad: 18 plots inside the Capital Street Islamabad project have been sold, bringing in Rs3.82 billion for the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The CDA-organised a two-day auction of plots on Capital Street in Islamabad that came to an end on Friday.

Investor reception to the Capital Street Islamabad project was positive and encouraging.

18 plots totaling 3.82 billion rupees were sold during the two-day auction.

On 27 acres near Shakarparian and next to the Pak-China Friendship Centre, the CDA plans to build Capital Street Islamabad on the models of JBR Dubai, City Walk Dubai, and Nizami Street Baku. For this project, 500 square yard plots were put up for auction by the CDA.

Capital Street Islamabad will have spaces set aside for cafes, eateries, bistros, and other businesses.

It is important to note that throughout the course of the two-day auction, investors, in particular from national and international food chains, restaurants, bistros, and persons involved in the food and beverage business, actively engaged in the bidding process and received plots of their preferred options.
