CDA to Approve Development Plans for Sectors D-13, F-13 & E-13

Islamabad: The layout plans (LOPs) for three new residential sectors—F-13, D-13, and E-13—will be reviewed and approved by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) board, which is chaired by CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal.

Sources claim that CDA purchased these sectors in 2008; however, because of difficulties securing ownership of the land, the development work was put off.

The CDA officials have made the decision to update the LOPs with thorough topographic surveys in order to correct this. According to a town planner, the CDA board will now be presented with the updated LOPs for these three sectors for final approval.

It is pertinent to state that the estate and land wings will begin allotments to neighbourhood landlords after the LOPs are approved, and the engineering wing will take the appropriate actions to start development activities.

Additionally, a CDA official disclosed that these sectors will include approximately 13,000 plots, including commercial areas, and are anticipated to bring in a sizable amount of money for the CDA.

The CDA board will also finalise the organization’s spending plan for the forthcoming fiscal year 2023–2024. A budget of approximately Rs. 150 billion is likely to be granted for both development and non-development projects.
